Afternoon tea with The Gardening Club
Monday the 9th of July was our final club day, so we decided to show off our hard work. Our parents were invited to the Millennium Garden to see what we had been growing. This year we have grown tomatoes, peppers, potatoes, carrots, onions, peas, corn and pumpkins. They were very impressed!
We then had afternoon tea in the potting shed. The Lacey Green Horticultural Society have promised to help us water the garden through the summer holiday, so we should be coming back to some wonderful crops.
A huge thank you to Mrs Bottomley who had been running the club but who is now retiring. We hope you will come back to see us next year.
January : RSPB Bird Watch
We have been busy with our binoculars, taking part in the RSPB Bird Watch this term. Fortunately, we were able to make our observations from the classroom!
